From Incheon to Jeju (Incheon → Gimpo → Jeju)


         

    • There is no flight from Inchon (international) to Jeju, and vise versa.
      * Therefore, you need to take all your belongings to Gimpo airport to take domestic plane to Jeju airport.
      * About three hours or more between the arrival time at Incheon and the depart time at Gimpo to Jeju are fine.
      * You may need to exchange about 50 USD for local transportatoin and others.

    • From Incheon airport to Gimpo airport
      * Take airport bus at Incheon Airport to Gimpo airport #2 terminal.
         ::: Bus stop :
            KAL limousine bus - 11A, 4B
            Airport limousine bus - 10A
            No. 6003, 6014, 6008 bus - 12B
      * It takes about 1 hour and costs 8,000 KRD (about 7 USD).

    • From Gimpo airport to Jeju airport
      * You should use the domestic transfer terminal (Terminal No.2).

    • From Jeju airport to workshop venue
      * The Seogwipo KAL Hotel is 45 km from Jeju International Airport and only 5 km from Seogwipo harbor.
      * Take airport limousine bus. It will take about 40 min.
        Airport limousine bus runs every 15 minutes between the airport and the hotel from 6:20 am. to 10:00 pm.
      * The workshop venue is the last stop of KAL limousine in Jeju airport.

Weather of Jeju

  • Typical coastal climate with minimum temperatures above 0 C even in winter due to warm currents. The island is on the border of moderate and subtropical zones, South coast - subtropics. Mild climate, 4 seasons:
  • Summer season : usual air temperature is 26 C, highest 33 C, highest water temperature of upper layers
    is 28 C.
